Sons is a UK hair-loss subscription service operated by Careforsons Ltd. Its prescribing and dispensing relationship is with The Independent Pharmacy. We checked the legal operator, pharmacy registration, subscription controls, delivery charges and published starting prices. We have not completed a consultation or placed an order.
Operator and pharmacy
Sons’ terms identify Careforsons Ltd, company number 11557956, as the website operator. The clinical and pharmacy service is provided through The Independent Pharmacy, operated by ABSM Healthcare Ltd. The published GPhC premises number is 9012559, with Andy Boysan listed as Superintendent Pharmacist, GPhC number 2047716.
Plans and pricing
Sons sells rolling hair-loss plans in one, three and six-month cycles. The hair-loss range page showed plans from £13.60 a month when checked, but the starting figure depends on the product, plan length and introductory discount. The amount charged at renewal can be higher than the first-order equivalent, so compare the total renewal payment rather than the headline monthly figure alone.
Changing or cancelling a subscription
The account area allows a customer to change the next delivery date, skip an order, change products, pause a subscription or cancel before the next order renews. Sons says reminder emails are sent before renewal. Orders cannot normally be cancelled once processed, and medicinal products cannot be returned simply because a customer has changed their mind.
Delivery
Standard Royal Mail delivery is listed as three to five days. Delivery is free on orders over £40 and £2.99 below that threshold. A tracked 48-hour option is listed at £3.99.
What stands out
Sons clearly identifies the independent pharmacy behind the service and provides useful account controls for long-running subscriptions. The main comparison limit is the gap between introductory monthly equivalents and the full renewal payment for multi-month plans.
